This place was recommended to us from someone in the mall as we were unfamiliar with the area. The food was hot, fresh and delicious (we ordered one of the skillets and omelettes as well as the kid's breakfast). Our server Abi was great, and we ended up chatting with the owner and chef who was very friendly and appreciative of our feedback. Highly recommend!
On top of the food being tremendously delicious, we had the pleasure of interacting with the owner and chef of grill daddy. He was also incredibly humble, kind and friendly. The French toast, waffles, and chicken fingers were everything!!!
Food was fresh, well portioned, and reasonably priced. We got the "grill daddy special" Benedict and the smoked salmon on rye. Both were delicious. The home fries were significantly better than the average breakfast joint's home fries - if maybe a smidge salty for my personal taste. Service was fairly quick and friendly. Atmosphere was comfy, though I would've preferred a bottle of ketchup over packets. Overall, a very solid breakfast joint, no major complaints whatsoever, would recommend and would come again.

Honestly, probably one of the better eggs benny I’ve had. I usually enjoy hash browns as the side, but I thoroughly enjoyed the potatoes. They were crispy and flavourful. The only thing I would suggest is for them to add more fruit on the side.
Light food with decent portions. Love that they didn’t overstuff the plate with fries. Everything was good quality, what’s expected from a locally owned restaurant like this. The server especially was really nice.

Grill Daddy is hands down one of our favourite spots. The food is unbelievable—flavourful, fresh, and consistently top-notch every single time. We have been here well over 10 times now, and the quality has never once dipped. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible chef, Sri. He does all the cooking himself, which means things can sometimes take a little longer—but it is absolutely worth the wait. Every dish is made with care, precision, and high-quality ingredients. You can taste the dedication in every bite. The staff is also amazing—warm, attentive, and always welcoming. Between the outstanding service and the talent coming out of the kitchen, Grill Daddy has become a go-to for us. Highly recommend it.
